The Support Officer is responsible for the efficient and confidential administrative and business support services to the Executive Manager, Clinical Hub and to the broader work unit.
The role is responsible for the coordination and management of correspondence and requests for information and provides support with a wide range of administrative, financial and human resource (HR) management processing activities including invoicing, payroll assistance, diary and travel management, records management, ministerial correspondence and general administrative support duties.
The Support Officer plays an important role in maintaining a range of the Clinical Hub's information systems and provides advice to key internal and external stakeholders regarding the Clinical Hub's operations and processes.
We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes: Demonstrated understanding, or the ability to rapidly acquire a high level of understanding of the structure, roles, functions, and services of the QAS. Proven experience in providing professional executive support to high-level managerial positions in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and limited resources. Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare accurate, concise reports, submissions, and correspondence. Demonstrated high level attention to detail and organisational skills, including the ability to set and review priorities and manage multiple complex projects within tight deadlines, with a high level of autonomy. Well-developed research and evaluation skills with the capacity to develop a range of options and strategies applicable to organisational situations. Good relationship management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively consult and negotiate with influence across a broad range of clients and stakeholders.
