Support Coordinator Base Salary + $15,900 NFP Salary Packaging + Meal & Entertainment Card
Partner with NDIS participants to provide tailored services in Maitland
RDO's - One day off per month

The Role An opportunity has arisen for the role of Support Coordinator within our Community Services division on a Full-time basis at Maitland office. As a Support Coordinator, you will be committed to ensuring that peoples' individualised support requirements are fulfilled, with a strong focus on seeing people move towards personal goals. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a flexible and constantly changing environment where time management and attention to detail are key. You will need the initiative to work and solve problems unsupervised, with a strong focus on reaching set goals and targets.
You will be responsible for supporting NDIS eligible participants with the management of their NDIS plan and budget. You will assist a team of Case Coordinators and other Support Managers to plan, implement and evaluate a range of support services which meet participants' outcomes. This role operates within a billable hours framework, and you will need to ensure strict compliance with all reporting and auditing requirements.
Essential Criteria: Demonstrated experience in service coordination or practical experience within the disability sector
Strong communication skills – written and verbal;
Ability to liaise effectively with participants, customers, community groups, employees, external agencies, government departments and other stakeholders
Valid Working With Children Check for paid employment (or willingness to obtain)
Willingness to obtain a valid NDIS Workers Check
Valid NSW Driver Licence (minimum P2)
3 doses of Covid-19 Vaccination
