About the role
The Support Coordinator delivers efficient quality customer service by applying subject matter expertise to provide accurate, relevant and timely information in an environment of changing deadlines and priorities. The Support Coordinator supervises staff to deliver organisational outcomes through efficient and effective allocation of resources and adherence to established operating processes and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet these Key Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality, student/customer-centric service in a front-line environment.Proven experience in resolving complex customer queries, including recommending solutions and escalating issues based on risk.Ability to coordinate and develop staff, promoting continuous improvement in a dynamic, change-focused environment.Strong skills in managing fluctuating workloads within a team, meeting deadlines, and achieving business objectives in a high-volume service setting.Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment in interpreting regulations, procedures, and instructions.Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service to diverse student/customer groups, including individuals with disabilities and from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.Proficiency in using multiple systems such as databases, email, Office365 (including Excel and Word), with the ability to perform accurate data entry while maintaining data quality.Knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements.Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
Out of hours work will be required.Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program.The incumbent may be required to attend promotional events such as IE events, Expos, Career Days, Field Days and School Engagement (internal tours/external events), when required.The incumbent may be required to work in different teams as workload demand changes.Application Instructions
