Your OpportunityJoin our team as a Support Manager on a full-time, permanent basis (Monday to Friday), where you will lead a dynamic team who provide personalised case management support to our clients who are experiencing homelessness.
Your leadership will make a significant impact on their journey toward stability and wellbeing.
The Support Coordinator will supervise and provide guidance to Lead Recovery Workers, Indigenous Housing Mentors and other Community Service Workers and will report to the Program Manager.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the effective functioning of the program and other administrative requirementsProvide supervision and offer regular training and development opportunities to staffProvide strong Case Management leadership to staff who work with clientsActively participate and engage in interagency meetings, forums and outreach servicesMonitor Housing facilities to ensure safety and regulatory obligations are metComplete a range of internal and external reports as required by Program ManagerRequirements for Success:Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioural Sciences or Community ServicesExperience and knowledge in a similar role working within the homelessness sectorProven experience in the Management and Development of staffSenior First Aid CertificateBefore starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
