As a Support Coordinator, you will work closely with participants to navigate the NDIS and interpret their individual packages; it is your role to ensure they are getting the most out of their NDIS plans.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting and empowering participants to make their own choices as to how they want to lead their lives.Coordinating a variety of services for participants to support them to live fulfilling and meaningful lives within the community.Engaging with and managing participants' key stakeholders (including government agencies, community and clinical service providers, and families) to ensure that the supports and services are leveraged, not duplicated.Working with participants to strengthen their ability to coordinate their own supports to live their best life.About YouTo be successful you must:
Possess a working knowledge of the NDIS (desirable).Have excellent communication skills.Show a commitment to best practice.Have experience working in a team environment.Be able to quickly and effectively engage consumers.Be able to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities & individuals.Role RequirementsCertificate IV in Mental Health (desirable).A current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland driver's licence.A currently registered, roadworthy, and fully comprehensive insured vehicle.First Aid and CPR certificates (ability to obtain).A Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (ability to obtain).NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (ability to obtain).NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You'.About the Offer & BenefitsWe offer a range of benefits including:
