About the Role We are looking for an NDIS Support Coordinator to join our team.
In this role, you will help NDIS participants achieve greater independence by assessing their individual needs and identifying the necessary services and supports to reach their goals.
You will work closely with participants to coordinate their supports, ensure they maximize their NDIS plans, and address any barriers by implementing action plans.
Other key duties will include: Building strong relationships with participants, their families and external service providersDriving as required to visit participantsHelping participants to negotiate with providers about what they will offer and helping them to understand the cost they will need to allocate from their NDIS budgetWorking with billable hours and targetsEnsuring service agreements are completedTaking a holistic approach to capacity building and helping participants to break down and address their barriersWhat you will bring to the role: Previous experience working with, and a thorough understanding of, the NDIS and the ability to understand facets of NDIS Plans/BudgetsExperience with billing targets and case notingHigh level administration experience, compliance capabilities and IT skills - particularly with ExcelYou are a true people person, preferably with demonstrated disability sector experience and with the ability to motivate and build rapport with participants, their families and service providersA business mindset and a customer service focusExcellent time management and prioritisation skills with high-level organisation skillsBenefits and Perks Package up to $15,900 of your annual salary tax free, and additional $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses.Use your pre-tax income to purchase a new or used car, saving on both the purchase price and running costs.Discounts on Corporate Private Health Insurances, Select Kia Vehicles, and appliances.Supportive Induction and Learning OpportunitiesEmployee Assistance Program.Reward and Recognition Program.Intrigued?
