The Landing Gear Support Administrator role will be based in our new Landing Gear facility in Ashbourne, Co. Meath.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting the business with regards to Technical Records, Customer Relations Support and Costing/Estimation of work being carried out in the workshop.
The Landing Gear Support Administrator will also be responsible for training, assisting and imparting knowledge to other staff and apprentices in the Business unit.


Key Responsibilities: Set up and maintenance of Landing Gear records for all contracted Customers Maintenance of accurate up to date records of all DAL Landing Gear assets Update and give regular feedback to customers on technical issues and costings to date. Complete a final draft invoice for correlation with the Finance Department once a work-scope has been completed. Aid the Head of Landing Gear in the achievement of the company objectives, setting new targets, identifying and capturing new business opportunities etc. Organising, administering and training of reporting staff to ensure regulatory and Customer compliance. Be prepared to undertake other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Company from time to time. Core Competencies: Have good educational background. Preferably have at least 3 years relevant experience in an aircraft maintenance environment. Excellent ability to analyse and interpret Technical and Airworthiness data. Have thorough knowledge of relevant airworthiness legislation. Ability to learn new computer systems and have good knowledge of how to use Microsoft packages - Excel in particular. A full understanding of the Company MOE and Procedures Manual. Have an excellent knowledge of Life Limiting requirements of Landing gears. Be commercially aware and experienced in negotiation, and be customer –oriented. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability and commitment to work within budget and meet performance targets. A proactive approach in the use of continuous improvement, to reduce TAT and costs. Be able to multitask, set and change sectional priorities, independently assess and handle sensitive airworthiness issues and manage staff within the overall requirements of the customer. Where applicable, the person must satisfactorily complete a Dublin Aerospace competency assessment procedure based on GM2 145.A.30(e) prior to working unsupervised.

MOE 3.14 Essential Criteria: Be able to pass a 5 year background check. Fluent in English both written and oral. Ability to pass pre-employment medical screening. Permission to live and work in Ireland without restriction.
