The Opportunity: KBR is seeking an experienced Supply Support Officer to work within the Maritime Domain out of Garden Island, Sydney.
The Supply Support Officer will work within an integrated team focusing on a remediation program for the Royal Australian Navy.
Under the direction of the Commonwealth Lead, the Supply Support Officer will assist in conducting Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) reviews of a naval platform to ensure that the maintenance and sparing baseline is appropriate for the through life support of the platform.
Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to: Support the Commonwealth to conduct Design Acceptance of ILS Products.
Provide assurance on the implementation of updated ILS products into CMT-U/AMPS.
Support of the technical specialists to ensure that the prioritisation of systems under analysis is aligned to the system remediation plans.
Triage obsolescence items as they arise and provide recommendations for Commonwealth action.
Materiel inventory support to manage the demands of the products, such as, purchase to payment processes, cataloguing and codification, inventory management, inventory investigations.
MILIS cataloguing changes to meet the requirements) Management and administration of inventory management systems: Interpret data and reports and provide solutions to inventory activity and issues.
As the ideal candidate you will bring: Possess a relevant recognised tertiary qualification in Business, supply chain or similar, or demonstrate relevant professional experience.
Requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in: Procurement / Supply Chain Management; Material requirements planning Inventory control Costing and valuation methods management Experience and understanding in the use of MILIS, LNIDS, SAP and other ERP systems.
Knowledge and experience with NAVALLOW is essential (APLCRATES also desirable).
Technical knowledge and experience with weapons electrical systems / assembles is desirable.
Demonstrated strength in written and oral communications (essential).
Strong relationship skills and stakeholder management experience across all levels of an enterprise.
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance.
