Your role will include performing tasks associated with Supply Customer Account (SCA) Holder functions for management of Commonwealth owned items and Material Codification Catalogue (MC CAT) activities that support codification and cataloguing of supplies delivered to Australian Defence Force customers. This opportunity will require user access to Defence Enterprise Resource Planning programs (i.e. MILIS / SAP) through the Defence Protected Network. This role is responsible for: Performing MILIS administrative functions Performing SCA Holder functions including asset stocktaking activities in accordance with the Commonwealth SCA Managers' stocktaking plan. Ensuring equipment on charge is used with due economy and for the purpose for which it was issued. Ensuring equipment is suitably and safely stored, is in serviceable condition and has not been subject to unauthorised modification. Ensuring SCA held equipment on temporary issue is returned by the due date and the equipment is inspected with defects and deficiencies reported for rectification action. Receipting and issuing items to and from SCAs. Raising movement requisition orders for freight. Liaising with Commonwealth representative regarding MILIS functions. Performing Codifying and Cataloguing functions including: Coordinating codification and cataloguing of new or modified CEA Items of Supply (IOS) identified in project codification data packs. Submitting requests for new NATO Stock Numbers (NSN) to the National Codification Bureau (NCB) using the Material Codification Catalogue (MC CAT) program. Performing cataloguing functions using the Defence ERP program. Maintaining MILIS Global Catalogue management data for CEA associated NSNs. Ensuring manufacturer / supplier NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) code details are correct and up to date Liaising with Commonwealth representatives to provide information that will assist in establishing MILIS inventory records including external purchase orders (EPO). Essential: Australian Defence Force (ADF) or Defence Industry experience. Understanding of DEF-AUST 1000C, Defence packaging requirements. Sound knowledge of CEA products and processes. Good written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Eligibility To be eligible for this position you must be: An Australian Citizen Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance - NV1.
