Join our dynamic Defence team at Garden Island, NSW, where we provide critical fleet asset management services to the Royal Australian Navy. As the Supply Support Manager, you will lead a team of three and play a key role in managing logistics and supply chain operations, serving as the main interface with external stakeholders.
In this position, you will take responsibility for managing the supply chain team, ensuring the timely provision of logistics products, and offering expertise in inventory, warehouse management, and distribution. You will contribute to the development and execution of Babcock Marine's supply chain strategy, driving continuous improvement in supply chain performance, capacity, and governance.
Your role will also involve managing inventory, monitoring subcontractor performance against KPIs, and collaborating with other functions to ensure an aligned procurement approach. You will oversee the implementation of efficient logistics procedures, optimising warehousing, distribution networks, and inventory management systems. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying cost-saving initiatives and driving performance to meet specific targets set by the business.
