About the Role
Hastings Deering is on the hunt for a Backorder Management Analyst to join our award-winning team in Archerfield, Brisbane. This is a permanent, Monday to Friday role.
As a Backorder Management Analyst you will:
Execute the procurement of parts to meet long lead time Sales orders requirements. Provide support to Business Centre staff to source and expedite part requirements for critical planned work. Engage with internal customers to understand in detail inventory coverage deficiencies at Business Centres and execute the developed strategies to ensure adequate parts supply for planned work. Maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver optimal sourcing strategies. Responsible for executing supply plans for a variety of parts through a complex supply chain to meet forecasted demand. Action the outcomes of the monthly root cause analysis of rolling order accuracy and forward purchase forecasts and constraints. Perform root cause analysis to supply issues in order to understand causes and develop in conjunction with the senior supply planning analyst appropriate corrective action plans to resolve/eliminate issues at their source. Examine order schedules to identify opportunities to optimise orders through adjusting supply plan, manipulations of orders (deferral, cancellation) and consolidation of deliveries. A successful teammate will have experience in:
