We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Planner to join our team.
The Supply Planner will be responsible for ensuring that our company has the necessary inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs to satisfy global demands and inventory investments.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities Manage all operational supply planning activity within the sales and operations planning function.
This role will manage end to end supply balancing function for all clients globally.Support the supply planning process as required - identifying & communicating potential supply gaps or problems.Manage client inventory levels to support business objectives, keep positive customer satisfaction scores and achieve working capital targets.
Provide expert supply chain advice to key clients, to help them make decisions to maximise their potential and strengthen relationships between our two businesses.Provide expert advice to the key accounts to maximise their potential sales.Identify, review, challenge and validate demand planning assumptions applied in developing region/channel supply plans.Embed the global supply planning process & calendar across the business with key stakeholders – including all reporting and meetings.Contribute to demand planning channel review meetings – support the monthly global demand sign off process with senior management.Lead the product lifecycle process focusing on identifying non-performing SKUs and collaborating with key stakeholders to develop and monitor recommended action plans to minimise SLOB inventory.Lead Excess (SLOB) inventory and markdown recommendation management.Maintain global planning milestones for new products in the Cygnett "Go To Market" system.Key contributor to S&OP report creation and distribution for all global regions, covering demand, supply, shipping and slow moving/excess inventory.Key customer pre-order review & supply confirmation.Other duties and projects as assigned by the Global Planning Manager.Qualifications and Capabilities Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field desired but not essential.3+ years of experience in supply planning or a related field.Thorough understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes – including product, demand, supply and inventory management.Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyse data and identify trends.Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Experience with supply chain planning software, such as SAP, planning systems and Excel proficiency.Knowledge of inventory management best practices and supply chain optimisation strategies.Personal Qualities At the end of the day, we all just want to do our best work and go home to spend it with our family, friends and loved ones.
