Supply Planner

Details of the offer

As a Supply Planner, you will report to the Supply Manager and be based in Clayton, Victoria. You will be managing the supply of purchased finished goods from local suppliers, however, you will have exposure to learning other portfolios which are managed by other team members as part of the team flexibility plan. You will be part of a dynamic team of 5 Supply officers and closely work with different internal stakeholders across different strategic business units. This will give you the opportunity to learn about PPG's activities in Australia and New Zealand.
This full-time role has an on-site requirement, however, there is flexibility for remote working which can be arranged with the department manager.
ResponsibilitiesActively communicate with local suppliers on the status of open orders.Lead supplier weekly meetings as required.Daily review of SAP exception messages to bring forward, move out and cancel deliveries.Daily review of outstanding orders.Lead weekly root cause analysis and 5 whys, usually around OOS (Out of Stock) or materials stored in excess.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred, however not mandatory.Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.About us:Here at PPG, we make it happen, and we are looking for candidates of the highest integrity who share our values, with the commitment and drive to strive today to do better than yesterday – every day.
