This role is being recruited on 12-month fixed term contract. Who are we? We are Bondi Sands. The Australian Tan.

What is the role? Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Supply Planner will be responsible for managing inventory levels and ensuring the efficient flow of goods from our 3rd party manufacturers to our customers. Working closely with our manufacturers, and internal teams such as regional Demand planning, logistics, and NPD the Supply Planner will work to align supply with demand, minimise costs, and improve service levels.
Providing critical day-to-day support, the Supply Planner will effectively communicate to achieve targeted metrics and work strategically to optimise inventory investments, mitigate out of stock risks, and support the company's overall supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities Support the S&OP process and collaboration with the wider supply chain team and cross-functional / regional stakeholders. Deliver agile and effective supply plans through the chain of replenishment, from production plan to the downstream distribution network across the global hubs. Manage the monthly Supply planning meetings to validate firm purchase orders and purchase forecasts. Optimise and review Safety Stock based on ABC classifications and related Safety Stock rules, ensuring optimal service level is delivered. Ensure correct and updated stock parameters are well maintained in the planning system. In collaboration with the wider team ensure Order and Process Lead Times, Freeze Horizons and Lot Size/MOQ are reflected accurately in the system. Generate and issue reporting related to OOS and communicate OOS/ low stocks orders to all subsidiaries. Issue monthly export load planning on a timely basis. Pro-actively facilitate and support the continuous improvement of the planning system to ensure optimal benefit are materialized (from a process and outcome standpoint) Ensure that productions are optimized with regards to target stock turns, price, margin and approved batch size. This includes a collaborative quarterly review of batch sizes and production risks. Generate monthly order plans for all finished goods produced at 3rd party manufacturers across all global production hubs Support the wider team for planning and stock allocation of all inventory related projects including NPD, Reformulations, Supersessions etc. Communicate stock priorities and allocations globally. Maintain Phase out status for Finished Goods (Product Life Cycle) and collaborate with Global Demand to manage Phase Out dates. Support in any new tool implantations/upgrades. Collaborate with regional teams and stakeholders to drive best service and align action plans. Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with cross functional teams to ensure that latest information and assumptions is used for supply and inventory plans. Drive improvement in service level (fill rate) metrics, strive to achieve and exceed targets Prepare and maintain supply and inventory planning summaries and participate to the reviews for senior management and for monthly S&OP meetings calls. Collaborate with Demand Planners and provide input for volume planning. Liaise with Warehouse/Distributors to obtain specific market information Who are you? The ideal candidate has 2+ years professional experience working in supply planning or inventory management within the FMCG industry, backed by relevant tertiary study (advantageous). You have experience working with mass market distribution retailers (i.e. Coles, Woolworths, Priceline & Chemist Warehouse) and are familiar with S&OP processes within a global business.
You have strong commercial acumen and understanding of the supply chain, complimented by strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, ever evolving team environment.
You have strong stakeholder management skills and customer service experience, enabling you to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a harmonious relationship by meeting and exceeding expectations with high levels of efficiency and communication, ensuring that stakeholders are kept informed with business-critical information.
