About the role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Supply Officer Supervisor to join our dynamic and growing team in Broome.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take charge of supply chain operations and make a real impact in one of Australia's most exciting industries.
This pivotal role is designed for a leader with a strong background in supply chain management who is ready to oversee the day-to-day operations of our supply and logistics functions on a National capacity.
The Supply Officer Supervisor will be responsible for leading a fast-paced, dynamic environment by taking the reins of the supply team across our Australian Bases, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly.
Reporting to the Supply and Purchasing Manager for key responsibilities and the Senior Base Engineer for all day-to-day matters.
Responsibilities of the role include:
The control and administration of the store and supply activity Oversight and Supervision of Australia Supply Officers Induction and Training of Australian stores staff Liaising with the Supply and Purchasing Manager regarding any issues with procurement activities Physically receipt and dispatch parts Transferring parts to other bases Oversight of Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments for offshore helicopter flights.
Ensuring the stores areas are kept clean, tidy and secure Ensuring any goods requiring specific storage requirements are adhered to where appropriate including dangerous goods
