Apply now Job no: 574269Work type: CasualLocation: Hollywood Private HospitalCategories: Administration/Support Services, OtherSupply Officer - StoresHollywood Private Hospital, NedlandsMultiple casual roles available: Enjoy flexible hours for better work life balance!Flexibility to handle rotating shifts, including on-call duties as well as weekends and evening shifts, is essential for this role!About the RoleIn this position you will work in a team that is responsible for the efficient operation of the stores section of the Supply Department.You will receive, store, and distribute medical and general supplies throughout the hospital.You will be required to unload vehicles, unpack cartons, check stock, and pick, pack, and deliver as directed to various departments in the hospital, all quickly and with a high degree of accuracy.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adequate stock is available and maintained in a number of key departments/wards.This is a hands-on, demanding & responsible position.Working hours are usually Monday-Friday – flexibility of start & finish times is important.About YouExperience working in a warehouse/stores including using a computerized stock control system.Proven ability to be highly accurate in a busy stores environment.A positive "can do" attitude with the ability to take responsibility.Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.Demonstrated good organizational and time management skills.Ability to work flexible hours.Proven ability to liaise, negotiate, and problem-solve with various stakeholders.Previous experience in a medical/hospital environment.Qualification in Purchasing or SAP.Remuneration: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $30.00 + 25% casual loading + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.What's in it for you?Professional Advancement: Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
