It is a long-life, low-cost, world-class asset in a core Newmont region. The Tanami Expansion 2 project, aims to extend the mine life beyond 2040, investing in a hoisting shaft which will increase the production of the underground mine from 2.6 Mtpa to 3.2 Mtpa. Both the successful exploration within the underground operation and implementation of the first Tanami Expansion has laid the foundation to further develop the operation to remain a major contributor to the Newmont portfolio. A fully equipped camp is located 40km from the site offering leisure facilities for those flying in from Perth, Brisbane, Alice Springs or Darwin.Join us and unearth your potential in a global company that is at the forefront of shaping the future of the mining industry.The Supply Officer, reporting to the Supply Supervisor, is tasked with delivering a safe and efficient warehousing service to customers as needed. The officer's duty includes safeguarding assets and securing inventory within the warehouse and adjacent storage areas. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining accuracy between physical stock and the Inventory Management System to guarantee high material availability.Verify incoming freight deliveries against the documentation for accuracy and transit damage, reporting any discrepancies.Ensure inventory items are properly stored, binned, and secured in designated locations, updating bin locations as necessary upon receipt.Accurately and swiftly input receipt data.Utilise warehouse material handling equipment for the movement, storage, and distribution of inventory.Conduct regular physical stock checks at all warehouse and laydown areas, investigating any variances.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the aforementioned tasks.You, The Person:

Experience in stores and warehousing within the Mining, Construction, or Heavy Earthmoving industries, complemented by strong communication and problem-solving skills.Possession of a current "HR" class driver's license and a forklift licenseFamiliarity and understanding of SAP and proficiency in computer skills, including ERP systemsA certification in load restraint is highly regarded.Working Conditions

The position follows a FIFO schedule of 8 days on and 6 days off, which may include a rotation of night shifts.
