Supply Officer A wonderful opportunity exists for a proactive and professional Supply Officer to join our Stores and Supply team at Waverley Private Hospital.
About the Role As a Supply Officer, your role will support our Stores and Supply team and contribute to maintaining an effective and efficient supply service.
This role's key focus will be on the receiving and issuing of medical, non-medical consumables and other agreed items.
This will involve, but is not limited to; Organising and general housekeeping of the store, including building and dismantling racks, numbering racks and shelves and setting up bin locationsManaging the receipt of goods using our SAP computer system, which will involve receipting and approving of supplier invoices, ensuring prices, charges and quantities are correctIssuing materials from store; preparing items / goods for departmentsStocktake and inventory management to ensure adequate supply of spare parts and consumables.About You To succeed in this role, you will have a strong work ethic that includes integrity, punctuality, respect of others, and a commitment to uphold and promote the Ramsay Way core values.
Your excellent problem solving and analytical skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and proven ability to manage multiple tasks to achieve deadlines is essential for this role.
The successful candidate will also meet the following criteria: Experience working in a service focused busy supply environmentExperience with complex stock control issues with a computerised inventory systemExperience in minimum / maximum stock control principlesAbility to use and operate stores equipment, motorised pallet trucksProven skill in working in a highly organised and systematic manner in a supply environment.Excellent administration and organisation skillsProven ability to providing an efficient, helpful and friendly service to customersAbility to use initiative, self-motivation, work as a team member with minimal supervisionCandidates who have experience with SAP, or similar materials management computer systems and who have had experience working in a Healthcare sector will be highly regarded.What's in it for you?
