Council is offering an opportunity to join our Supply Warehouse Team, where you will be responsible for handling warehousing, customer service, and supply functions within Council's store.

As the first point of contact for both internal and external customers and suppliers, you will play a key role in delivering our supply, stores, and warehouse services.
Your focus will be on providing excellent customer service, fostering teamwork, and ensuring safety.
Key responsibilities include receiving, issuing, and delivering stock, organising storage, and operating plant and equipment.
You'll also contribute to service delivery and improvement projects as needed.

Your other key focus areas are:
Undertake the manual handling aspects of the store operation including safely receiving, issuing, delivering and storing materials.
Safely operate plant and equipment including vehicles, forklifts, pedestrian stackers, pallet jacks and hydraulic trolleys.
Provide excellent service while providing materials, services and information to meet the needs of the customers.
Maintain accurate records and complete system requirements in the receipt, reconciliation and issue of goods from the supply store.
Manage the delivery and pickup of internal mail and materials using Council vehicles.

Specifically, you will have:
Transport and Logistics Certificate II or equivalent experience and qualifications in a relevant discipline such as warehousing.
Experienced and skilled in all aspects of warehousing including picking, selecting, receipting, stocktaking and issue of materials.
Demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of customer service in person, over the phone and in writing.
Proven ability to work effectively and cooperatively within a team environment.
Experience in working with a warehouse management system such as SAP, Authority and Oracle.
MR Truck Licence is desirable.
