What you will be doing… The Supply team is responsible for managing Virgin Australia aircraft inventory to support all maintenance requirements in the timeliest and cost-effective manner.
As a Supply Officer you will maintain availability of reliable, compliant inventory, cost effectively throughout the Virgin Australia Airline Group networks to avoid disruption of operational and maintenance activities.
You will… Process orders, quotes, and correspondence in relation to Aircraft consumable and repairable parts Ensure all inventory is procured or repaired in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements in the most cost-effective manner Raise Reports for all significant events that may have safety, quality or compliance implications.
Partner and collaborate with Aircraft Engineering and Stores teams Assist in the ongoing optimisation of the inventory plan What you need to be successful: Demonstrated experience in Supply chain and procurement Experience in purchasing and cataloguing within Aircraft or heavy equipment Ability to partner and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders Naturally has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in adhering to compliance Proven ability to assess scenarios and plan outcomes in the most effective manner Ideally having knowledge of the CASR Part 42 Continuing Airworthiness Regulation however not mandatory We're committed to looking after you, with some of the best benefits and conditions in the industry – including (but not limited to): Discounted flights for you and your loved ones (including $1000 worth of travel credits per year) A flexible, hybrid work style.
