About the role
In the Full Time Supply & Demand Planner role your duties/responsibilities include:
Coordinate planning-specific supply chain processes, ensuring the successful delivery of products to customers while optimising inventory levels.Gather and assess data (using Grainsmart, Sugar CRM, Fishbowl Inventory Management Software and internet systems) to monitor product availability issues, devise solutions for identified problems, and escalate appropriately.Lead the development and improvement of the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process, ensuring alignment across departments.Provide recommendations to streamline processes in supply chain.Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to understand demand drivers, incorporating insights into accurate demand forecasts.Oversee the short-term and long-term supply plan, setting inventory targets for finished and traded goods.Analyse material consumption monthly to drive discussions with key account managers and customers.Prepare capacity plans and reports, collaborating with the team to manage inventory effectively.Lead fortnightly supply planning meetings, providing insight into supply changes, and working closely with the demand team to adjust plans accordingly to reduce interruptions.Provide critical data to support decision-making for production planning and scheduling of raw materials, ensuring an efficient supply chain.Skills/Qualifications required: Bachelor of Management, Logistics, Commerce or Information Technology preferred.At least 1 year of relevant work experience.Analytical Thinking.Problem-Solving.Communication Skills.Team Collaboration.Time Management.Adaptability.Attention to Detail. #J-18808-Ljbffr
