About the role We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Systems Officer to join our team for a 12-month maximum term opportunity.
In this critical role, you will provide day-to-day maintenance and support for our supply chain information systems, enhancing operational efficiency and supporting our strategic goals.
You will act as the first point of contact for system users, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure seamless operations, and be the primary user trainer.
About Business Insights and Excellence The Business Insights and Excellence group drives operational excellence by enabling best business practices, economic pricing, supply chain management, and performance optimisation to support the broader business and partners in delivering reliable, cost-effective, sustainable, and future-focused outcomes.
In addition, your responsibilities will include: Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day.
You will:  Deliver first-line user support, troubleshoot system issues, and escalate problems as necessary.
Conduct systems testing, user training and produce learning materials.
Monitor system accuracy, and assist with administrative tasks, including contract disclosures and maintaining system data tables.
Support periodic system version upgrades and the implementation of new system capabilities.
Foster effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring users are informed and supported in utilising available systems.
Your success in this role will come from: Experience with supply chain systems and associated support processes.
Relevant studies or experience in training development and delivery.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to manage concurrent tasks, set priorities and achieve deadlines.
