This role is responsible for partnering with key stakeholders in the ANZ region and globally to build a robust supply chain and improve material cost competitiveness by effectively managing supplier relations, optimizing the supply base, implementing category strategy, and the global procurement process.MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES:Develop regional supply chain strategy action planning and ensure alignment with business needs and global supply chain strategy.Deliver KPI of saving and TWC improvement.Manage the global relation with selected critical suppliers who have a global network and/or global manufacturing footprint.Implement strategy sourcing with integrating category management, including establishing strong relations with strategic suppliers, consolidating spend to achieve competitive cost and best commercial terms, driving supplier VAVE, conducting competitive bidding, and building and optimizing price models.Drive more lead cost country sourcing especially China sourcing to maintain a competitive supplier base.Be early involved in NPI and product VAVE, source suppliers on time and at or below targeted cost.Develop and improve supplier management programs, including supplier selection, approval & registration process, supplier assessment scorecard, and deactivation.Design and improve procure-to-pay process by working with FIN/Material/IT.Collaborate closely with operations to drive supplier performance improvement in delivery and quality. Work with quality & supplier in warranty resolution and cost recovery.Develop and execute supply chain continuity plans to proactively mitigate risk and protect revenue.Be involved in designing and implementing global procurement infrastructure, including global purchasing policy and process, contract management, vendor master administration platform, and e-tools.Lead supplier selection and cost reduction in major IDM towers, including MRO/Professional service/IT/Logistics/FM etc.Work with FIN to deploy Standard roll & PPV outlook and tracking.Other duties as required.KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:ERP and MRP KnowledgeCritical thinker and great problem solverAbility to analyze complex financials and develop effective reportsAbility to think analytically and develop effective strategiesRelevant experience in ManufacturingA proven track record in collaborating and operating in cross-functional teamsSkills in critical thinking, data analysis, and commercial awarenessAbility to work unsupervised with a "can-do" approach.Ability to follow procedures and policies as per company standardsMandarin language preferred but not mandatory.DISCLAIMER:This is a great opportunity to join a global company based locally in Bayswater North.
