Supply Chain SpecialistHybrid Role based in Sydney, AustraliaYour Tasks:
The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for providing support across the general supply chain and logistics functions, including but not limited to, preparing import and export customs clearance documentation, managing stock replenishment requirements, and driving initiatives with key stakeholders for best practice and improvement
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Process incoming shipments into the warehouse, check against packing lists, and record and report discrepancies promptly in line with department KPIs
Place purchase orders with internal supplier, following up on their receipt, pricing, and delivery dates
Manage customs agents and freight forwarders to ensure timely clearance and delivery of shipments, providing relevant information and paperwork as required.
Manage stock replenishment process and on-demand stock based on estimated supply, scrap, self-life data, and reporting as required
Champion best practice initiatives and drive a continuous improvement culture through collaboration with teams and suppliers to develop ideas and implement effective solutions
Identify, implement, and monitor appropriate KPIs and ensure robust measurement and reporting in place to communicate performance and progress
Recommend action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformance
Back Up to Warehouse and Customer Service functions, as required

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of Supply Chain management and logistics experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Windows operating system - internet, and MS Office™ products (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
High Level skills in Excel (vlookup formula and pivot table)
Experience with SAP MM, MRP, SD modules

Key Skills:

Good literacy and numeracy skills
Self-motivated, with high attention to detail, the ability to be flexible, and a willingness to display initiative
Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Medical/ life science product knowledge (preferred)

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Must have ability to handle more than one task at a time and must work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
This job is performed in a variety of facility types.
This person will have an office environment for about half of the work performance, which is temperature controlled.
This job requires the person to be mobile to move to warehouse portion of the facility.
Used research/clinical equipment may be handled in this job and strict SOPs and PPE must be worn.
