The Opportunity:
Do you have the drive, skills and ability to work with us as part of our team? Our Perth-based Procurement Team has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Specialist. This role will entail supplier identification, end-to-end sourcing and post award management of allocated packages. Subcontract management and close-out and contract negotiations to name a few.
In this role, some of the following duties you will undertake but not limited to:
Collaborating with the Project Procurement Manager and Procurement Lead to execute pre-award and post-award procurement tasks as outlined in the PSR. Drafting and issuing essential procurement documents, including EOIs, RFQs, ITTs, TBEs, CBEs, and RFAs, as required. Assist with commercial aspects and terms and conditions (T&C), conduct negotiations with bidders to align with Project T&C. Draw up Subcontracts off templates, and Package Purchase Orders for approvals, and manage the issuance and acceptance with recommended subcontractor/supplier. Assist with the prequalification of suppliers and subcontractors in developing Project Approved Supplier Lists (ASL). Manage and negotiate variations post award with Engineering, Construction and Subcontractors as part of the Change Management Process for Packages and deliverables. Develop Recommendation for Awards (RFA) to Client based on commercial evaluations of packages, and manage recommendation process with the Client. Expedite and understand the Scope of Works from Engineering and Construction Departments. About you:
Our future colleague will have at least 5 years of experience and a demonstrated skillset with tender/RFQ Process within an EPC/CM Projects Supply Chain environment. You will have attention to detail and be comfortable with fast pace and confident in reporting and working with client representatives. A strong understanding of ERP systems is beneficial.
