Position: Supply Chain Project Manager Location: Deeside, Flintshire Job Type: Permanent / Onsite Our client, a highly established global leader in the Aerospace industry, is on the hunt for a Supply Chain Project Manager to be located at their site in Deeside.
Role and Responsibilities: In this role, reporting to the Company Director for Supply Chain, you will be managing work transfer activity between the business's UK suppliers and other suppliers based in Lower Cost Economies (LCE).
Other responsibilities include:
Closely work with the business functions Supply Chain, Quality, Program Management, Engineering, etc. to ensure full product/part manufacturing knowledge is transferred to the in-region team before the Work Transfer is launched.Support visits from the LCE suppliers for business reviews, technical assessments, etc.Work with the in-region team to ensure the supplier technical requirements reviews, production readiness, and first article flow plans are robust and in place to deliver projects in compliance with customer requirements.Support the improvement of the supply chain processes throughout the business.Experience or Qualifications: Degree educated in Business Management related subject (ideally Supply Chain) or Engineering.CIPS or APICS qualified.Familiar with Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, and Production Planning concepts.Proven experience in project management detailing examples of full life cycle and completion success.Benefits: 25 days annual leave + Bank HolidaysHighly competitive Pension SchemeDiscretionary Company BonusPrivate Health CareCandidates who currently are a Supply Chain Project Manager, Supply Chain Planning Manager, Supply Chain Program Manager, or International Logistics Coordinator may be suitable for this position.
