About the opportunity: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, agile and deadline-driven Supply Chain Planner to join our highly successful proprietary products team.
Reporting to the National Commercial and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, cost-efficient and quality supply of all required product labels and 110L drums to meet Proprietary branded seasonal product supply volumes.
This integral role will work closely with the operations, logistics, and manufacturing teams to ensure product is in place and available to fill forecasted and stock seasonal demand orders.
There will be good opportunity for growth within this role for the right candidate.
In addition to other regular and ad hoc tasks, you will:
Develop supply plans against forecasts.Ensure all labels and drums are available when required for all Seasonal product requirements, prior to production start dates.Purchase all required product labels and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.Work with suppliers around pricing, deliveries, any quality control issues and continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve supplier performance.Work in compliance with all Australian regulatory environment and QA requirements.Ensure the relevant websites have the current label versions and Material Data Safety Sheets and facilitate the updates with our Marketing team as changes occur.Utilise, optimise, and enhance the ERP system (SAP) to improve stock flow, inventory, and service level outcomes.Track, maintain updates and ensure raised purchase orders are on schedule and correct in the system.Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships with a focus on providing accurate, timely information.To be successful in this role you will need: Demonstrated success in a similar purchasing or Supply Chain Planner role.Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain concepts.Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a seasonally busy environment.Solutions oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.Strong analytical ability with intermediate/advanced ability in MS Excel.Effective communication skills in dealing with different levels of stakeholders.Tertiary qualifications in Commerce/business/agribusiness/supply chain.Previous experience with SAP is desirable.What we offer you!
