The Opportunity: KBR is currently undertaking Expression of Interest applications for a Supply Chain Optimisation (AIC) Manager for various Maritime Programs in our Capability Sustainment and Modernisation operational unit.
You will be responsible for the provision of AIC (Australian Industry Capability) Stewardship across the program of work through carrying out AIC Risk Management activities and developing the AIC Plan.
The Supply Chain Optimisation (AIC) Manager will identify, develop, and ultimately attempt to include as many AIC opportunities as possible in order to maximise Australian sovereign capabilities.
Responsibilities: Develop a network of sovereign suppliers through market testing, and negotiation with Australian CompaniesLiaison with Australian Industry bodies to seek compatible capabilities for the program and actively seek to reduce barriers to entryFacilitating local industry engagement activities and the provision of status reports as required on AIC opportunities and their actual and projected economic benefitsPromotion of local capability into the Global Supply ChainResponsible for driving Continuous Improvement and Performance AnalysisDemonstrate an understanding of the ISO 44001 standardAs the ideal candidate you will bring: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, and/or Business, or with relevant experience in AIC ManagementIn depth knowledge of Maritime Engineering, ILS, Supply Support, Maintenance Support and AIC ManagementExperience in AIC, Commercial/Business Development, Procurement/Supply Chain Management, and Technical EngineeringDemonstrated leadership and organisational skillsProject management qualifications/experience desiredChange Management experience desiredThe ability to gain and maintain a NV-1 minimum Australian Government Security ClearanceAll candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance.
