The Role
We are seeking a customer-focused Supply Chain Operator to join the team based in our Gladstone where we pride ourselves on providing excellent service. As part of our team, you will be responsible for supporting BOC's customers both before and after they buy and use the products or services we offer and provide excellent customer service experience.
What you will enjoy doing Sort cylinders for filling and identify cylinders that are not suitable for filling and quarantine accordingly.Releasing cylinders for use or sale.In charge of phone and counter sales, processing customer orders, responding to requests for information and pricing.Report and record product quality non-conformances.Quarantine product and release from quarantine, cylinders in process or that are found to be outside specification limits.Responsible for stock management and the dispatching and receiving of goods.What makes you great Experience in customer service and sales environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.Background in Welding or Engineering (preferable).Reliable, dependable, and motivated to advance in your career.Interest in a career in the Welding Industry.Forklift license or willingness to acquire one is essential.Why you will love working with us Our people have the opportunity to thrive and excel.
