Job DescriptionA leading company in the paints industry, in need for a Supply chain manager, with these responsibilities:
Develop and monitor the company's supply chain strategy to increase speed and efficiency.Improve productivity and efficiency and reduce costs while securing high-quality material.Analyze operational performance and resolve issues.Collaborate and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all operations (e.g. shipping, delivery, etc.) meet legal, quality, and safety standards as well as land more profitable deals.Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.Optimize warehouse functions and monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly.Diagram supply chain models to help facilitate discussions with customers.Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.Monitor forecasts to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.Meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, or to discuss production forecasts or changes.Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers.Analyze information about supplier performance or procurement program success.Confer with supply chain planners to forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.Identify opportunities to reuse or recycle materials to minimize consumption of new materials, minimize waste, or to convert wastes to by-products.Evaluate and select information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution, storage, or inventory.Train and guide employees.Job RequirementsMinimum10-year of working experience in the field of supply chain management, of which at least 5 years at least of experience in an industrial sector is a must.Postgraduate Diploma or MBA in Supply Chain Management is an advantageFluent in speaking and writing English.High competency level in MS Office.Commercial awareness.Strong time management skills.Strong project management skills.Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
