Our high achieving team values its enviable reputation for the highest quality standards in both manufacture of product and customer experience.About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity to join FGS Glass as our Supply Chain Manager.Reporting directly to the Managing Director in a key strategic role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all raw materials from our key glass manufacturers both local and overseas. You'll also manage all production consumables to ensure seamless supply to our manufacturing teams in a cost-effective manner.What you'll be doingForecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimise stock planning to ensure timely supply of materialsDevelop and implement supply chain strategies and processes to improve efficiency and decrease wastageUse data analytics to facilitate cost optimisation by identifying areas for cost reductionNegotiate favourable terms with suppliers and monitor supplier performance to maintain quality and reliabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams such as despatch, production and finance to align supply chain activities with business objectivesEnsure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, FGS policies and proceduresWhat we're looking forYou are a motivated individual, with a natural curiosity and with a strong willingness to learn.
