Job Description The Supply Chain Manager will have the following responsibilities:
Lead product & supplier management, and supply chain from both a strategic and operational perspective. Leading, overseeing and monitoring operational areas relating to customer service, warehousing, and distributionWork closely with the global supply chain team and play a lead role in an effective and efficient implementation of S&OP processes.Ensuring the creation and deployment of effective strategies, systems and processes to enhance the logisticalDevelop supply chain strategies for business growth requirements, including optimising current product portfolio & supply chain network.Activities including Freight Forwarding (inward logistics), Warehousing and Distribution (outbound logistics) with a priority placed on practical, logistical and financial efficiency, as well as safetyGaining an in depth understanding of all operational systems & procedures allowing you to not only effectively manage but also support the customer service and dispatch teams as requiredControl and analyse warehouse inventory levelsManage inventory forecastingEnsure all processes are adhered to by warehouse team The Successful Applicant The successful candidate for the Supply Chain Manager will ideally have the following key skills and qualities:
Strong track record managing end-to-end supply chain processesStrong Product & Supplier Management experienceBackground in industrial manufacturing / engineering environment is preferredProven experience of financial management and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and labour managementAbility to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employeesBeen involved in projects resulting in cost savings and improving efficiencies What's on Offer $150,000 - $160,000 + superannuationHybrid working
