The key purpose of this role is to lead a multi-functional supply chain team to maximise business performance. This role also focuses on developing product life cycles for timely launches, assessing profitability, achieving procurement savings, and optimising inventory to reduce slow-moving stock.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for: Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team to manage supply planning, purchasing, and customer service;Ensure optimal capacity planning for manufacturing to meet DIFOT and business efficiency goals;Manage procurement strategies, ensuring value-for-money partnerships with local and international suppliers;Optimise inventory management to reduce slow-moving stock while balancing working capital;Collaborate across departments (sales, marketing, finance, and operations) to streamline processes and improve supply chain efficiencies;Drive new product development processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective product launches;Monitor key KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain activities;Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.To qualify for this role, you must have: Relevant degree in Planning, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or Commerce;Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing environment;Expertise in supply planning, procurement, inventory management, and demand planning;Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and continuous improvement;Solid project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives;Proficiency in MRP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office;Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders;A hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving and operational efficiency.This is an exciting opportunity to work for a dynamic and growing company in a role that offers plenty of challenges and opportunities for growth.
