About the role:
The Supply Chain Managers role is primarily responsible for what and how much inventory is located within each branch taking into account the physical limitations of each branch and contracted/agreed service level commitments with customers to balance ATOM's desired industry-leading customer service experience with inventory efficiency.
This full-time role requires a self-disciplined, fast-paced, supportive and collaborative individual requiring a high degree of specialised expertise, analytical focus, and skill in maintaining established standards of quality and accuracy.
The pace of work is faster than average where quality is never compromised, and requires an individual who can learn quickly and thoroughly and is adept at recognising and adapting to changing situations.
It will see you day to day:
Defining and monitoring compliance with all inventory rules within the businessManaging the efficient replenishment of branch inventory Maintaining inventory accuracy in collaboration with Branch ManagersWorking with the Supplier Engagement Manager to negotiate with suppliers optimised buy-pricing, in-bound freight costs, and the return of slow-moving inventoryManaging consignment stock and ensuring all customer specific/embellished inventory is supported by customer buy-back agreements Managing the purchasing of all private label products Collaborating with sales to manage demand forecasting for all inventory Managing ATOM's freight relationships Responsible for driving programs of innovation and continuous improvement throughout ATOM's supply chain About you:
