About the Role You will be responsible for the overall supply chain management and logistics for three business entities. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle, shipment of international goods and management of warehouse.
Responsibilities & Duties Procurement
Direct, optimise and coordinate full order cycle from ordering to delivery of goodsMain point of contact and negotiations with international (China, Italy, UK) suppliers, distributors and clearing agentsCreation & tracking of Purchase Orders Service/spare parts inventory ordering and management Logistics
Strategically plan and manage logistics and transportation of goods from port to warehouse and sitesManagement of multiple shipments arriving to and from multiple ports Warehouse Management & Record Keeping
Overseeing of main warehouse, including management of 2 warehouse staffCataloguing/pictures of stock, goods and spare parts in warehouse, including updating and maintaining accurate real time logs of all orders in company Simpro softwarePreparation of weekly stock and progress reportsOversee various inventory management activities including the receipting process, damaged goods process, order checking procedures, stock adjustments and age stock reportingManagement of supplier warranty claims Financial & Regulatory Management
Manage a cost-effective logistics operation with periodic reviewsIdentification and realisation of cost reduction and continuous improvement opportunities Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeline targetsMaintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvementsCompliance with laws & regulationsProvide ad hoc reporting to senior management team Stakeholder & Relationship Management
Collaborate with internal teams (service & install)Build and maintain close relationships with external suppliers to deliver a reliable high quality cost-effective and timely source of supplyProviding timely feedback on progress of orders to stakeholdersResolve any arising issues/complaints in a professional and timely mannerLeading, motivating and inspiring your team The person Over 5 years' experience in a similar Supply Chain Manager / Logistics / Warehouse roleDegree qualified, preferably logistics/supply chainExperience with international suppliers (China & Europe)Experience in identifying and improving the supply chain processes Advanced computer skillsCRM software experience necessary (Simpro highly advantageous)Leadership skillsAbility to multitask and manage various project element simultaneously, retaining attention to detailStable work history Contact James O'Sullivan
