The position will efficiently and safely supervise supply chain functions including purchasing, supply, inventory control and product dispatch from the Australian warehouse. It will also be focused on driving the development and continuous improvement of an effective and efficient, customer driven supply chain network to support Dechra's growth agenda.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe Challenge So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate's key responsibilities will include:
Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain operations as per Dechra's strategic plansManage all procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation of pricing, MOQs, terms and other support as requiredImplement supply chain best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure effectiveness and delivery against set KPIsDevelop, manage, and maintain relationships with all stakeholders including third parties to facilitate the delivery of on time products.Utilise the demand plan to ensure adequate stock availability to meet customer demandProvide leadership and guidance to the warehouse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.Communicate within Dechra across business units to collaboratively achieve targets Conduct regular supplier audits and internal stocktakeSupport company wide initiatives to improve service levels to our customers.The Ideal CandidateAbout You Here at Dechra we pride ourselves on being an inclusive employer and we embrace candidates from all walks of life. There is also the potential that this role will have Possible exposure to penicillin and penicillin products.
