This role is responsible for ensuring all inventory related controls, stocktakes and resulting stock discrepancies and adjustments are accounted for in an accurate and timely manner through updated procedures, monitoring the sites for compliance and reporting on variations.
In this role you will work closely with the Site inventory specialists and planning team in managing all exceptions and you will also lead the accurate reporting of Packaging Usage. Additionally you'll partner with the Supply Chain Commercial Analyst to streamline current process and set up automated reports to deliver insightful analysis and accurate reports to the business as a Supply Chain business partner.
Key responsibilities: Implement Group Inventory reporting including:Monitor and Measure Accuracy and Completeness of ABC Cycle counting with reasons for variances across the State Distribution Centres Ensure timely and accurate processing for all Manual adjustments Report on and follow through with DC inventory specialists, investigations into all Inventory exceptions e.g. QA holds, rejects, stock in transit, aged stocks etc Monitor and report on staff sales as per new staff sales policy Coordinate the National Control of Crates including the processing of any system related entries Manage the accurate reporting of Packaging Usage Conduct Inventory Provision reporting including follow up status with key stakeholders of stock at risk of being destroyed Work with the Planning team to provide meaningful analysis and reporting of inventory Coordination/consolidation of CHEP equipment variances across the network Revamp and update various inventory procedures Complete monthly GL recs and process usage journals Set up robust weekly reporting template to minimise manual exercise to reduce weekly closing time and allow for detailed analysis Ad hoc tasks including any process improvement initiatives Key requirements: Strong inventory experience and a 'can do' attitude with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels Experience working with high volumes of data and analysing in a complex and fast paced environment is essential Finance degree with Supply Chain experience will be highly regarded A passion to instil controls and procedures as required Advance Excel and use of large databases in a complex and fast paced environment is a must Sound influencing skills to change behaviours, practices and culture Hands on warehousing experience will be highly regarded along with experience using Warehouse Management systems Ability to lead and take others with you Flexibility to travel to the sites as required We're looking for people who arecurious, caring, courageous and committed to join us; people who want to contribute their best work every single dayand continue delivering deliciously good food that's…Always Good!
