About the role As Supply Chain Engineering Lead , you will provide high level technical expertise and supervision in relation to supply chain management engineering services for engineering projects for the company. You will also be responsible for: Providing technical expertise and leadership support to team members Management of small projects within your discipline as required. Developing repair, spares and warehouse strategies based upon a combination of risk analysis and proven experience, providing clear, concise and accurate reports / recommendations to clients; Maintain an up to date knowledge of materials management best practices and statutory requirements, through appropriate means, i.e., review of periodicals, attendance at conferences/user groups, etc; Demonstrable involvement in developing repair, spares and warehouse strategies based upon a combination of industry experience; Practical experience and understanding of master data management, materials data structure, ISO 22745, and ISO 8000; Providing guidance, leadership and technical support and expertise within your discipline; The Person You will ideally have at least 7 years of experience with a background in hydrocarbons, manufacturing, mining environments or heavy industries with a proven capability to deliver quality outcomes to project timelines, with the following attributes: Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent trade and experience; 15 + years' experience in the industry or recognised as an industry specialist; Demonstrated experience leading teams of materials and inventory specialists; Working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and Australian standards; CPEng and/or RPEQ Status (Preferred); The new Verbrec brand represents our evolution and continued growth by leveraging emerging techniques and technologies for the benefit of our clients.
