About the Opportunity? This role represents a rare opportunity to work on the pioneering SSN AUKUS Build Program, delivering an essential sovereign capability for Australia.
The Electrical Engineer, specialising as a Supply Chain Engineer, will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical review and quality assessment of suppliers' systems and operations for electrical components in the submarine.
You will support business processes, provide detailed reporting, and assist in supply chain development through active engagement with the external market.

Review and understand engineering design requirements for naval applications.
Conduct pre-qualification desktop reviews of potential manufacturers and suppliers.

About you?? Four-year bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar satisfying eligibility for membership of Engineers Australia (or other equivalent professional society).
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to recognize and set appropriate priorities and work standards.
Demonstrated commercial acumen.
Knowledge and experience with systems and technologies such as cabinets and consoles, electric motors, cables, and sensors.
Eligibility? This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level.
Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
