Supply Chain Director
for a permanent role.
About the RoleReporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution required to optimize the entire supply chain lifecycle.This position involves overseeing the seamless integration of procurement, production scheduling, distribution, and logistics, ensuring efficient end-to-end management of products and services. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving innovation, efficiency, and excellence across our supply chain operations, significantly contributing to the companies growth and success in the Australian market.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the entire supply chain lifecycle, encompassing procurement, production scheduling, distribution, and logistics.Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of products and services, from raw material sourcing to final delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to quality standards.Monitor KPIs, Service Level Agreements, and metrics to evaluate supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational excellence.Foster a workplace culture that values individual and team contributions to organizational effectiveness.Manage a dedicated team across planning, warehousing and logistics, customer service, continuous improvement, and production management.Identify initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency, engaging with both external suppliers and internal teams as part of a partially vertically integrated supply chain.Develop business cases for future investments within downstream operations.About YouThe successful candidate will have extensive experience in leadership roles within the supply chain or procurement space.The ideal candidate will be an executive-level supply chain leader with strengths in planning and inventory management and a proven track record of end-to-end ownership, including experience in managing in-house production.This role is best suited for a hands-on leader who is passionate about people development and possesses the ability to drive enhancements that improve business performance.
