As part of our Operations team, the Supply Chain Coordinator is a key part of our frontline support for our operations in Southern Queensland.
This role is based in Chinchilla Qld on a full-time basis.
The Supply Chain Coordinator's responsibilities include: Perform standard warehouse functions including Goods Receiving, issuing, storage, forklift operation, and other basic warehouse activities.Seek and review quotes from approved vendors, submit purchase requisitions, and produce purchase orders.Arrange transportation of materials with approved transport providers.Perform local pickup and drop-off of materials using company vehicle.Manage and update the asset management database for owned and rental assets.Arrange periodic servicing and inspection of tools, equipment, and vehicles in accordance with schedules.Maintain a tidy and safe workplace at Chinchilla ensuring waste management and cleaning procedures are observed.Provide accurate reporting in a timely manner – e.g.
regular updates, compliance, audits.Perform safe manual labour tasks in a warehouse environment.Compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements under NHVR.Assist Supply Chain and Logistics Lead with review of vendor prequalification submissions and approvals.To be successful in this role, you will have: 3 years' experience in a supply chain related position.Intermediate skills using MS Office suite (with advanced skills in Word and Excel).Intermediate skills using databases and online applications (e.g.
Freight bookings, Purchase Order processing).Experience with MEX, Maximo, or similar ERP software used for supply chain activities including asset management, procurement, and logistics.Knowledge of procurement systems and processes.Knowledge of inventory management systems and processes.Knowledge of asset management systems and processes.General computer operation.Warehouse housekeeping.Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations.Health Safety & Environment obligations, processes, and awareness of conditions which affect employee safety including safe transport of hazardous materials.Previous Oil and Gas industry experience - highly desirable.Standard working hours for this role are Monday to Friday 7am-4pm; however, special circumstances may require presence at the Chinchilla facility outside of these hours (i.e.
to facilitate special delivery).Travel may also be required one day per fortnight at our Roma operations, for which a company vehicle will be provided.You must hold a valid, open, manual C-class driver's licence.Forklift operation is a mandatory requirement for this role.
