My Client, a leading fine wine distributor, is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their Abbotsford HQ team.
This role will play a critical part in ensuring the undisrupted flow of product from global suppliers to domestic customers.
Role & Responsibilities: Supply Planning : Develop and execute supply plans for imported fine wines, taking into account long lead times, demand forecasting, and inventory management.
Customs & Import Compliance : Ensure all imports comply with customs regulations and documentation requirements, working closely with customs brokers and government agencies.
Vendor & Supplier Management : Coordinate with international suppliers to track orders, monitor shipments, and manage timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
Logistics Coordination : Collaborate with freight forwarders and logistics partners to manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
Inventory Control : Monitor stock levels and optimise inventory flows to meet demand while avoiding overstock or stockouts.
Problem Solving : Address and resolve any supply chain disruptions, such as shipping delays, customs issues, or order discrepancies.
Requirements: Proven experience in supply chain planning, specifically with imported goods and long lead times.
Prior knowledge of customs regulations, import documentation, and compliance procedures.
Exposure to demand forecasts analysis.
Excellent communication and organisational skills to manage relationships with international suppliers and logistics partners.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
At least intermediate level of Excel.
