About the OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Business Applications Specialist to join our Supply Chain Function on a 12 months fixed term contract based at Edinburgh Parks,
The role:This role will analyse existing vendor performance/value to identify areas of potential improvement and develop plans, working closely with business leaders, to address performance issues and optimise value delivery.The Procurement team also supports the negotiation and finalisation of contract terms, co-ordinates the management of vendor performance to ensure that procured benefits are delivered and supports dispute escalation and resolution processes.The Director Contracts and Procurement has responsibility for:Developing a strong team culture that supports the success of the team and empowers the individuals within it to perform to their full potential.Building a competent team with the required capability, implement a framework for continuous development that will enable improved performance.Encouraging and recognise the performance of staff, ensuring that performance appraisal and training and development plans are in place.Promoteing and fostering professional development through coaching, mentoring...
