About the OPPORTUNITY We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Business Applications Specialist to join our Supply Chain Function on a 12 months fixed term contract based at Edinburgh Parks, South Australia reporting to the Supply Chain Business Applications Manager. We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working. You will be responsible to lead user access, support and train, test upgrades and interfaces and deliver the incremental continuous improvement of supply chain business applications. Key responsibilities include: Leading the development of a comprehensive training catalogue for procurement and supply chain systems. Utilising change management skills to support the delivery of procurement and supply chain training. Leading the maintenance of online training for procurement and supply chain systems in line with system upgrades and changes. Collaborating with the Supply Chain People Capability Manager to ensure the procurement and supply chain systems training forms part of the Supply Chain Function's training plan. Upskilling the Supply Chain Business Applications Team in training development and maintenance. Supporting the maintenance, integrity and functional compliance of procurement and supply chain systems including cross business coordination of activities and system testing. Supporting the procurement and supply chain service desk including issue resolution and stakeholder management. Supporting the delivery of procurement and supply chain internal communications and intranet pages covering training and support. Acting as the procurement and supply chain functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the business and support cross functional and business projects. Demonstrating proficient knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes across different supply chain systems. Knowledgeable in the capability and use of the following tools is preferred Aveva ERM, Oracle EBS, Ultramain, Jira andSharepoint. About YOU Qualification or strong experience in Lean, Six sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies with an experience in working in supply chain or procurement roles Strong experience as a Business Analyst or exposure to the field with an experience working in Jira and confluence Demonstrated experience working with supply chain applications like Oracle cloud, SAP, AVEVA, COUPA, Icertis, Sirion Labs, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, IFS, GEP, Jaggear and or Zycus Strong communicator with an ability to negotiate and influence internal and/or external stakeholders and deliver training in a classroom or workshop environment An ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirement with strong stakeholder engagement skills We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
