Towards this aim, we are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain and Project Coordinator who will be responsible for leading and coordinating effective and efficient operations of purchasing and production within the warehouse team. This role is across Alpha Fit and Arena Flooring. This position is responsible for maintaining quality service to all internal and external customers and is accountable to achieve a 99.5% 'Right First Time' for all work being conducted by: Ensuring all requests are clear and contain all required information before being actioned. Working with the relevant stakeholders to improve consistency of quality outcomes. Regularly auditing formal inspection points, compliance testing and approval gateways. Documented traceability of action. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out demand planning, including the review of multiple forecast models, and raise purchase orders for all production materials as well as completed stock items from Australian and International suppliers. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality DIFOT performance from them. Alert accounts on large pricing fluctuations and monitor lead times and quality issues. Negotiate supply from domestic and international suppliers. Develop new supplier relationships for improved performance, pricing, quality, or supply chain risk diversification as required. Develop supply chain strategy and systems. Co-ordinate all inwards inventory, holding the warehouse team responsible for receipting all stock accurately and in a timely manner. Perform cross-checks on this work as required. Correctly maintain and process inventory transactions in the ERP system and monitor inventory/ purchasing KPI dashboards within the system (for example, the follow-up of overdue purchases and maintenance of correct expected dates). Ensure that supplier-product details are maintained and accurate in the ERP system (i.e. supplier pricing and quantity price breaks, product lead times, supplier contact details, etc.) Alert the engineering team to inaccuracies in production routing/ bills of materials and make ad-hoc changes to production bills of materials as required to complete the production plan and maintain inventory accuracy. Lead the completion of cycle counting and full stock takes. Assist with the processing of customs clearance documentation for inbound international freight. WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY Consult with workers and any H&S representatives on WH&S issues. Ensure that workers are equipped with the information, instruction, training and supervision that they need to work safely. Identify, assess if necessary and control hazards within their area of responsibility. Encourage early reporting of incidents and forward information to the RTW Coordinator (HR Advisor) immediately. Assist with initiating an early return to work on suitable duties after a workplace injury. Access sources of WH&S information and systematically disseminate information to all workers. Ensure that workers including apprentices, work experience, volunteers and contractors are aware of, and abide by, all relevant health and safety procedures particularly those relating to the operation of plant and equipment. Develop safe work procedures as required and ensure adherence to procedures. Provide Person Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and ensure workers are aware of correct usage and storage requirements. Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained. Maintain relevant knowledge of WH&S issues. Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours. The employee is occasionally required to use sensory perception for quality measurement of products. From time to time the employee will be required to wear PPE such as: high vis jacket, safety shoes, ear plugs, safety glasses or at times a face mask. DESIGNATED KPI'S FOR ROLE Zero lost time injuries and Zero medical time injuries. Purchase requests to be processed within 24 hours maximum. Zero Outstanding orders unresolved after 24 hours of due date. Adheres to Company ISO Quality System framework. Ensure high quality of goods purchased and received. Supplier Assessment and Evaluation completed accurately and on time. Inventory counts and amendments are processed and accurately and efficiently maintained. SELECTION CRITERIA Qualifications and certification Relevant supply chain qualifications. Practical experience Demonstrated 5 plus years of experience in an inventory/ supply chain management role. Demonstrated understanding of inventory models and purchasing operations. Demonstrated experience in the use of ERP systems. Demonstrated supplier relationship management skills. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High regard for quality assurance. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Demonstrated experience to safety management. Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing work tasks and deliver to agreed deadlines. Strong internal and external customer service skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a broad range of people from diverse backgrounds.
