We are searching for an experienced and motivated Supply Chain Analyst to join our vibrant Australian WD-40 Crew.As an integral part of our small but mighty Supply Chain team, you will be responsible for collaborating with our Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Finance teams as well as our external partners to help ensure our products are forecasted, manufactured, distributed, and measured efficiently. With a close-knit team of 23 in Australia and as part of a global brand, we are looking for someone who enjoys understanding and getting involved in all areas of Supply Chain, rolling up their sleeves to help others, thrives in a hands-on environment, and is eager to contribute to our culture, business goals, and strategic objectives.What You'll Be DoingDemand forecasting and production planning.Inventory Management.Margin Optimization and protection.Review and analyze freight data.Work closely with the local freight forwarder partner.Collaborate with suppliers on supply plan including monitoring schedules, ocean freight, local production plans and communicate any potential delays.Build relationships with local and offshore raw material and packaging suppliers.Generating purchase orders for slow-moving finished goods and components. Reconcile slow-moving stock and create action plans with internal stakeholders to clear inventory.Work with our internal ERP system and associated tools.Analysis and validation of Cost of Goods.Update Bill of Material documents for new and existing SKUs.Analyze current supply chain processes, procedures, and sourcing activities to recommend improvements to drive material cost down and improve the quality of the products/services delivered.Conduct pricing negotiations for tier 2 suppliers where appropriate.Reviewing, analysis & reporting of monthly operations performance metrics; lead supplier meetings to address performance issues.What You'll Bring To The RoleBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or other relevant field.3-5 years broad experience within the Supply Chain functions of a FMCG business.Intermediate to advanced Excel and Access skills.Total RewardsFriendly, fun and relaxed team environment.Learning and development based culture.All-inclusive company conferences and events.Employee Engagement score above 95%.Short Fridays.Flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week.Competitive remuneration, clear bonus structure and additional Superannuation.Office location in Epping, Sydney.Publicly traded company headquartered in San Diego, California since 1953.Strong values aligned culture with the #1 strategic driver of ensuring a people-first mindset.A culture where 92% of the tribe report experiencing a sense of belonging.At WD-40 Company, we believe that purpose-driven, passionate people guided by our values create amazing outcomes.
