As the Supply Chain Analyst , you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth internal flow of goods between our suppliers and various departments within Marley Spoon.
This role is critical to supporting our Production teams and ensuring timely delivery of quality products for our Melbourne Fulfilment Centre, located in Altona North (VIC 3025).
Your Role: Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Sourcing team to ensure timely replenishments.
Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile any discrepancies.
Distribution Coordination: Manage the internal distribution of goods across departments, ensuring seamless and timely transportation.
Coordinate with third-party logistics providers when necessary.
Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and uphold quality standards.
Maintain strong vendor relationships to optimise supply chain performance.
Data Management & Reporting: Keep accurate records of inventory, schedules, and costs, and generate regular reports on supplier performance and distribution efficiency.
Process Improvement: Continuously analyse supply and distribution processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution management, preferably within the FMCG industry.
Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management.
Knowledge of supply chain optimisation techniques preferred.
Benefits Salary $85,000-95,000 base per annum, plus superannuation earnings.
