About the RoleThe Supply and Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the stores, supply and procurement functions of the facilities in the Pindara Hospital network. This role will encompass (but is not limited to):
Organising the effective management of the supply functions for the facilitiesEnsuring procurement is undertaken in line with hospital and corporate purchasing proceduresContinually ensuring stock supply chain is maintained with suppliersMaintaining appropriate quantities of stock to meet the needs of the hospitalProviding information and assistance along with a high level of customer service to all internal and external customersRegularly working with the accounts department to ensure quick and prompt payment of invoices.This role is responsible for the human resources and operational management of a team of supply officers, including the Theatre Stores team, as well as engaging in the management of staff to ensure that the store is operating effectively.
About YouWe are looking for a proactive individual who shows a strong dedication to customer service. Additionally, you should be able to meet the following criteria:
All-encompassing experience in a high-volume purchasing department within a corporate environment. Applications with Hospital Supply Management experience will be highly regarded.A detailed knowledge of medical consumables and equipment would be highly regardedExcellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to problem solveA high level of computer skills for Outlook and Excel and preferably experience with SAPProven experience effectively managing teams and human resources personnel to achieve a productive and cohesive working environmentAttention to detail and strong organisational skillsExcellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyKnowledge of workplace health and safety issues, particularly manual handlingAbout usPindara's Private Hospital network includes Southport Private Hospital and Pindara's Day Procedure Centre, serving the northern end of the Gold Coast covering a range of specialties.
