About the Job
We have a wonderful opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our Supply/Replenishment department, located at our brand new Head Office in Craigieburn, Victoria.
This full-time permanent position will play a critical role in maintaining the optimal balance of inventory supply and demand, through effective forecasting, inventory control and analysis practices. Reporting into the Supply & Inventory Manager, you will take full responsibility for planning, scheduling, and managing the purchase, storage, and consumption of inventory, while monitoring changes to inventory to keep stock at appropriate levels for our Abrasives businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide accurate accounting records of all purchased goods and services
Review and analysis of weekly and monthly inventory and sales reports
Form and maintain strong working relationships with all assigned suppliers, customs and freight agents and internal colleagues
Proactive contribution to improvements in all areas of responsibility, including processes and systems.
About You
We are looking for an individual who can bring new ideas and ways of working to the team, with a fresh and innovative mind-set, and who can solve problems before they are problems. To be considered for this position, you will be able to demonstrate:
Qualification in either Supply Chain/Logistics or Finance
Previous supply planning/Factory inventory experience
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Meticulous and methodical work approach
Ability to work collaboratively with others
Exposure to SAP or another similar ERP system is preferred, and any knowledge of international shipping and customs process will be highly regarded.
