Supply and Distribution Manager/Logistics ManagerOur organisation is seeking a dedicated Supply and Distribution Manager/Logistics Manager to oversee the management of warehouse, transportation and customer service operations. This role is critical in ensuring efficient warehouse management, excellent customer service, and overall operational excellence.
This position will require availability between the hours of 7:30 am and 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and occasionally on weekends. Some travel within Australia may also be necessary at short notice to meet our customers' needs.
Duties and Responsibilities: Strategically plan, organise, direct, control and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.Determine, implement and monitor distribution strategies, policies and plans.Direct, optimise and coordinate full order cycle.Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, other departments and consumers.Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.Ensure that the recording of purchase, storage, and distribution transactions is properly documented and ordered.Prepare and implement plans to meet quality, cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements.Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.Collaborate with different divisions within the business to optimise logistics.Supervise the tasks of the remaining logistics team.Qualifications and Requirements: Three years' work experience as a Supply and Distribution Manager/Logistics Manager.Tertiary education qualifications in logistics and chain supply.Outstanding project and time management skills.Experience with logistics and allocation software, including TrackPod.Competency with using Microsoft Office software, especially Microsoft Excel.Analytical and statistical aptitude.Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
